You are looking for a quiet hotel, although it is located in the village-centre? Then you found it!
Our traditional guest-house is being managed in the 4th generation from the Seufferth-family. We are the oldest hotel in Grainau!
Here, you will find an extraordinary location on a hill of Obergrainau, where you have unlimited views from all of our rooms and apartments over the village and the surrounding mountains! Our portfolio offers 7 single-rooms, 12 double-rooms, where some could be extended to triple-rooms and also 10 apartments for 2 up to 5 persons!
You can walk to the village-centre in 5 minutes, where you find different restaurants as well as the Indoor and Outdoor Swimming-pool and the Station of the Bayerische Zugspitzbahn (cog-train). The bus-stop to Garmisch is on the driveway of the hotel.
The very popular destinations of the region can be reached from us easily.
Rooms
Our hotel offers 7 single and 12 double rooms. Several of the double rooms can be extended to triple rooms. If the single rooms are fully booked , or if you prefer to have a larger room or a different view it is of course possible to book a double room for a single person.
The categories „Single“, „Economy“ (first and second floor) and „Komfort“ (second floor) all have a balcony. The „Standard“ rooms on the first floor offer a wonderful view and although they have no balcony there is a sunny terrace directly beneath the rooms to sit outside, relax and enjoy the views and fresh air.
Apartments
Our apartments offer accommodation for 2-5 guests: so they are ideal for families or small groups who want to enjoy some independence while on holiday.

For our younger guests there are board games and other amusements indoors, a sand-pit, football goal and table tennis outdoors.

There is free parking at the hotel for regular private cars. There is no parking for campers (RVs) or buses!

Breakfast
For Zugspitz climbers a mountaineers’ breakfast can be provided.
It must be requested before 3pm the day before. It will be prepared and presented in a thermos box.

In our locked bikegarage you can store for free your bike,- liability is excluded, but there are hooks at the wall for securing your bikes with your own lock. Ebikes can be charged there also.
